General

Amble NZ Limited (Amble) provides the amble social platform and application (services) through its website at amble.social. These terms form an agreement between you and Amble regarding your use of the services Amble provides. If you do not agree than you may not use the services.

Use of services

You must register to access and use Amble services. If you choose to register, you agree to provide and maintain true, current and complete information about yourself. Registration data is managed according to the privacy terms below. If you are under 18 years old, you must have the approval of your parent or guardian to use the services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information. You must immediately notify Amble of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security. You must also exit from your account at the end of each session using the services. Amble will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply. Amble may modify or discontinue the services to you at any time, without liability. Amble may prevent you from accessing your account to prevent criminal activity, misuse of the services, breaches of security, software bugs, and/or to comply with other legal obligations.

Conditions of use

You are responsible for all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages or other materials (content) that you upload, post, publish, display, email or otherwise transmit using the services. Unlawful, abusive, offensive, objectionable, or otherwise inappropriate content is not permitted on the services under any circumstances. Amble may investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates this condition, including removing the content from the services, suspending or terminating the account of such violators, and reporting you to law enforcement authorities. Unless authorised by Amble, you agree not to display, distribute, license, sublicense, rent, perform, publish, reproduce, duplicate, copy, create derivative works from, modify, sell, resell, exploit, transfer or transmit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the services. The services are for your personal use and may not be used for direct commercial purposes.

Intellectual property

Amble services may contain content that is protected by copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights. Unless authorised by Amble, you agree not to modify, copy, reverse engineer, frame, scrape, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on the services. You must not data mine, use robots, scrape or use similar data gathering or extraction methods. You will not post any content that you did not create or that you do not own all right, title and interest in. By posting such content you authorise Amble and provide a license to use the content on its services, without limitation.

Liability

Amble will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from your use of the services and other related activities. You agree to indemnify Amble for any loss to third parties arising from your use of the services.

Personal information

Amble collects personal data when you register for and use the services. The data collected during these interactions may vary based on what you choose to share with Amble, but it will generally include name, email, password, birth date, your mood, and other information relevant to the your wellbeing goals that will help us provide you with a personalised experience (such as sources and degrees of stress, preference for usage times and other relevant factors). Amble will use your personal information to provide personalised services, communicate with you, analyse how you use the services, maintain and improve the services, create new services, and/or comply with legal obligations.

Privacy

Amble may monitor the number of people that visit the services, peak hours of visits, which page(s) are visited, the sources users come from, broad geographical information, and navigation patterns. Amble uses cookies to operate and administer the services. A cookie is a piece of information sent to your device and stored by the services you are using. Cookies can be stored on your device for different periods of time. We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how users use the services and to enhance your experience when you use the services. Amble may disclose your personal information to third parties, but Amble will endeavour to contact you about such use of your personal information first. Contact Amble support if you would like to obtain, amend, or remove any of your personal information.
